Since opening its first shop in Vevey in 1995, Inside Africa Akwaaba has grown, driven by the same passion: to introduce, celebrate and share the riches of Africa in Switzerland. From 1995 to 2026, this family venture has been a story of perseverance, sharing and commitment, made possible by the trust of our customers, staff and partners.
In 2026, Inside Africa Akwaaba will celebrate 30 years of history, passion and commitment with a special event under the theme:
Over the course of two days, we invite you to discover and celebrate an Africa rich in culture, talent, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.
